Wrapped!

17 Oct

After 18 epic shooting days, and about three weeks in total, we completed production on Palace Living at about midnight on October 12. The shoot was intense, fun, stressful, and remarkably productive. Making a feature film with more than 150 scenes, settings all over the city and state, and about 10 significant characters, in 18 days–let’s just say it’s not easy. It took a lot of hard work from a lot of people.  Thanks so much to our incredible cast of leads and our wild supporting players; our amazing crew, who worked artfully and tirelessly to bring the film to life; everyone who helped provide or manage locations; everyone who invested in the film; the folks at the New York State Governor’s Office for Motion Picture Development; everyone involved in the 2010 trailer or earlier stages of the project; and anyone else I may be overlooking… thanks.

I won’t jinx the film by saying too much about what we shot, but I will say that there’s a lot of optimism about the film.

I posted a few production photos here, but many more are on the Palace Living Facebook page. Be sure to check that page and this site regularly for updates on the film’s progress.

Thanks again,

Zack
